FirmPOS Desktop - Star USB Printer/Cash Drawer Setup

FirmPOS Desktop cannot print directly to a USB version of the Star Printer. You need to route the printer to use a LPT port. Here's how to do it.

1. Share the USB Star Printer as "StarPrinter"

2.  Set the assign the shared printer to the first free LPT port (btw.. COMPUTERNAME = the computer name)

net use lpt1: "\\COMPUTERNAME\StarPrinter" /persistent:yes
